A Thisco Records completa duas décadas de existência em 2021, o que me fez perceber que se passaram quinze anos desde que lancei as minhas primeiras faixas em 2006, sob o nome City of Industry, através da Thisco, num split chamado Seek And Thistroy, dividindo a rodela com Tatsumaki e Devhour. Entretanto, a música foi ficando para trás, a escrita começou a ocupar cada vez mais os meus dias, e City of Industry metamorfoseou-se na série literária Cidade da Indústria. Em 2018, City of Industry voltou à vida enquanto banda-sonora das minhas histórias, materializando-se em cinco álbuns que foram sendo lançados pela EnoughRecords Netlabel, o último dos quais no princípio de Fevereiro. Esta espécie de best-of serve para comemorar o vigésimo aniversário da Thisco Records e será, provavelmente, o último capítulo de City of Industry, embora a série literária se encontre apenas adormecida e não morta. Estou certo de que a Thisco, pelo contrário, continuará por muitos e bons anos.

Thisco Records is turning twenty in 2021, which made me realize it has been fifteen years since I released my first tracks in 2006, under the moniker City of Industry, through Thisco, in a split called Seek And Thistroy, along with Tatsumaki and Devhour. In the meantime, music took the back seat, my writing demanded more and more of my time, and so City of Industry turned into the literary series Cidade da Indústria. In 2018, City of Industry came back to life as the soundtrack for my short-stories, resulting in five albums that were released throughout the years via EnoughRecords Netlabel, the last of which in early February. This sort of best-of serves the purpose of celebrating Thisco Records twentieth anniversary and will probably be the last chapter of City of Industry, although the literary series is comatosed and not quite dead. I´m sure that Thisco, on the other hand, will continue to thrive for many, many years.
